What was your latest purchase?

Postby KernowDevil23 » 06 Sep 2011, 22:15

Just trying to get a bit more discussion going on various topics. This thread is not limited to gaming so have a good mental rummage and let us know what you have been snapping up recently!

I'll get the ball rolling......

My latest purchase was a Razor Scooter for our son. :D

A new set of armour, a bokken (wooden practice sword) and a pair of big samurai trousers. Its kit time at kendo, so bye bye life savings

I also managed to get some Hello Kitty kendo equipment for my girlfriend so she is happy.

My missus managed to snag me a limited edition Gears of War 3 console today, which came with a download code for the full version of Crysis 2 (bonus!). Oh and I also picked up F1 2011 while I was at it. Now all I need is 36 hour days to cram in all that I need to get done!

My latest purchase was some lamb mince , a tin of sweetcorn , some sweeteners and six litres of cider.
I used to make arrow in the knee jokes , then Arm Fall Off Boy kicked me in the balls....... Come on Boon , quit teasing us with DLC characters we don't want , give us Arm Fall Off Boy dammit! Or at least give us Detective Chimp........

I've just ordered my third set of powerlines. The first set are still 'lost' in the post the second set had a duff plug and the third set are winging their way to me this week. More effort than i planned to get the onlive microconsole working but I loves me gadgets.

My latest purchase was a PS3. And you know what it ain't bad but it ain't an Xbox that's for sure. From my experience so far Xbox is 10 times better. The menus are cluttered but I suppose that takes time, and getting signed up to PSN is a nightmare. Servers down for over 24 hours! No wonder it's free! Still I get to play the likes of uncharted now and a few others. But it won't take over from my baby which has pride of place in the front room.

"Xbox is 10 times better"..........

Really?! How did you reach that in depth scientific conclusion then?

Right you take the length of time to set it up x the time taken on start up then divide by cost and add a load of big hairy ball bags and hey presto Xbox wins.
