Gaming Bargains Thread

Postby KernowDevil23 » 02 Oct 2011, 19:11

Following on from the thread created from "Emceehamster" regarding FIFA 12 & Deus EX: HR, I've decided to create this thread for everyone to post similar deals on all things gaming.

If you spot anything you think might be of interest to other forum users, please post in here and share the bargain hunting around!

Cheers,

KD

Wasn't going to get FIFA at full price, but I did want Deus Ex, so it all turned out very well.

Not a bad deal if you're interested in Rage. Trade in either Gears 3, F1 2011 or FIFA 12 at GAME and receive Rage for 99p.

After umming and ahhhing over Rage or Dark Souls a quick visit to Tescos gave me the excuse to buy both.

If you spend £30 in store u get Rage for £25, buying both saves you circa £15.

Fair enough Kernow, To be honest, I thought with Battlefield being one of the top three games to be released this year it deserved its own thread to ensure that everybody can see the offers that are available to them.

Off topic - Kernow, are you the only moderator left ? If so i'm more than willing to help out if needed.

Fair enough mate.

I've posted your findings in the main Battlefield 3 topic, so now the information is in two separate threads. As for being the only moderator, well I'm the only active moderator, as Shinesevens no longer frequents the forum and Darren disappeared years ago.

I'm all good with the "workload" at the moment but if I ever get stuck, I'll certainly bear you offer in mind. :D

I'm sure these are old hat deals, but game are offering modern warfare 3 half price (I'd guess £22.50) when you trade in gears of war 3, and are offering Skyrim for £5 when you trade in Batman.

Since COD and Skyrim are infinitely more my bag than Batman/Gears I'll be taking up both these offers.

Batman I actually bought for the sole purpose of this offer, £5 for a 2 week rental. Gears - I dont care about single player, nor death match, I bought it solely for Horde, and having finished horde I'm not fussed at all about keeping it now.

I know these deals won't suit everyone, but they are convenient enough for me.

EDIT:

Going to keep Gears now, as the supermartkets have some decent deals on MW3. Most are £25 when you buy a live card (points or subscription) or a shop of £30.

Anyone who didn't get rage and would like a go should get their ass on amazon today, going for £11 right now and delivery still in time for xmas! Almost tempted myself!

Still watching for GoW3, AC & Halo to drop (Halo did drop to £22 today but holding out for a bit more!!)
