GTAV

Playing them, beating them, moaning about them, celebrating them

GTAV

Oh come now. Officially announced, paint me excited and baited. Hope it sticks with realism but adds some options to go insane, attack helis, tanks, jetpacks etc.

What do you want from GTA V?

I want the fun back. I loved Vice City and San Andreas but no matter how hard I try I can never get more then a few hours into GTA4 before getting bored. I'm not talking the massively over the top antics of Saints Row (although I do enjoy them) but just a game that doesn't make me want to kill my characters entire circle of friends and then myself.

I liked GTAIVs realism though, that's why I would say more options to go mental, but not have them in the story. I'm playing Saints Row 2 at the moment, well, I started it. It seems a lot of fun, but it's technically poor, driving/running/shooting are all awkward. I much prefer GTAs euphoria physics quality - being drunk in the game was never more fun, shooting your own foot etc.

Seriously dissapointed. I really wanted another Bully game.

As for GTA 5, well, as long as its not more of GTA 4, it should be fine, as GTA 4 is horrible. If nothing else, deal with the bloody lighting. Still being shadowy as hell even in the middle of a wide open street in broad daylight was ridiculous. Hated trying to play that game.

GTA IV was an incredible accomplishment, so more of that. Want them to stick to liberty city as it's such a great location with the islands etc. To make it more fun on the side I would bring back the car parks where you got access to driving on the roofs and also bring back the limb decapitation from GTA 3. Found the ones in-between 3 and 4 a bit boring, so a mixture of 3 and 4 would be great.

Couldn't care less about GTA story, so just more of the same gameplay, bring back the army wanted level and keep up the hilarious radio channels

I agree with Grummy and would much rather have had a Bully 2.

On the plus side Ballad of Gay Tony and the very under rated China Town Wars on the DS were both much more up beat and a return to the more fun games in the franchise so maybe R* have got the realism out their systems. If you want realism there are plenty of games that meet that criteria, please don't change the ones that don't ( in a similar way to having the RPG back in Mass Effect)

Bully is made by R* Vancouver who are making Max Payne 3 at the moment, R* North are all about GTA (also some Agent game for PS3).
