That's a little unfair since every developer takes inspiration from their competitors, look at how many sand box games have been released since GTA3. Bethesda and Bioware have always been the big two names in console RPG, one focusing more on story driven and the other on free roaming, so it's only natural they would be interested in what the other is up to.

Nice to see that they seem to be taking on board the complaints many people had about DA2 rather than just reading the rave reviews and blanking out all other voices. It wasn't a bad game by any stretch, just not as good as it should have been from Bioware.

And do those character sketches mean we get the multiple races back, maybe even play as a Qunari?
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

yeah but you know, DA 2 kind, well, sucked, and Skyrim is so freaking epic they cant really be blamed for riping it off, gameplay wise

Much as I love Skyrim, it's not the most original game either. Skyrim's magic is a shameless rip-off of BioShock's Plasmids, for example. I think BioWare need to take a long look at Skyrim as a lesson in how not to p*** off your fanbase. Of course, much of Skyrim's success has come from Bethesda's attention to detail and that takes time. Whether EA will allow them that kind of time is doubtful, so I'm not sure what BioWare can take from Skyrim.
I don't get the appeal at all. Like what do they do... say something stupid then read the replies while they touch themselves? - Vampyre_Ghost on trolls.
