I was looking forward to this anyway, but hearing it has more content than a lot of Collectors Editions as standard just makes me keener

I'll be honest when I heard a pc exclusive was coming to console I expected them to be nerfing more than they add but as I haven't played the pc version and all I've heard about this game is good I'll defiantly keep an eye on it. Only thing I'm worried about now are the controls, ports never seem to get them right.

April 17th is the North American release date, there hasn't been one confirmed for other regions yet. April 20th seems likely, though, being the nearest Friday.

I'm looking forward to this, don't use my PC for gaming, so it'll be good to try it - I've only heard good things.

There's a "Dark Edition" coming out too, with a 200-page art book, a wolf's head witcher medallion and some stickers; doesn't seem like it'll be worth the extra money, though.

All over this like an itchy rash - shame they can't do a quick port of the first one in advance although not world ending having to play it again on pc :)

Laptop not up to it? I have a similar fear, not that it won't cut it, but that im a mac user so i'll be running windows 7 through parallels or bootcamp and i know it's notoriously fussy on anything but XP so even though i shouldn't have issues i guarantee there'll be something i need to mess with to get it running!! Think that's why i would secretly like a port - it's the main reason i gave up pc gaming etc!!

I know what you are saying,me too, there will more than likely be some issue to get it running.Laptop isn't bad but i didn't buy it for gaming.I did try to persevere with the pc for gaming until about 2007 but since i had the first 360 that took over more and more.

Yeah, it was a throw away comment really...! Bearing in mind how long ago all that happened (2-3 years ago?) and with #2 sorted for a port i was stupidly hoping they'd get their shit sorted and cash in! I don't for one minute think it will happen though, but happy enough the sequel - and albeit a very complete looking version is on its way, this has instantly moved to the top of my 'looking forward to' list for this year!
