Microsoft promises "really cool upcoming stuff"

Microsoft's global product manager Glenn Gregory has teased Big Things on Kinect this year, in what we sincerely hope is a veiled allusion to Crytek's first-person face-bludgeoner Ryse, reportedly "going really, really well".... read more

In the 18 months Kinect has been out... what has been good? What future games look any good?
...and if you tell that to the kids of today, they wont believe you!

More adult games would include Blackwater, The Gunstringer & Rise of Nightmares, too. I have all of them, but am yet to try any of them, so I couldn't say whether they were any good or not...

I assume Fruit Ninja will be good fun, too. Got that with Gunstringer, but again, I haven't tried it.

I've seen some decent reviews for Blackwater, (7/10s; one of which was from OXM) supposedly it evokes memories of light gun games like Time Crysis, which I used to love playing in the arcade. That's the only reason I got it, well, that and it was only a tenner.

I got Gunstringer for £15, I haven't seen it for anything less. Are you interested in Fruit Ninja? That'd cost about £7 to download and comes free with the game, making it pretty good value for money.

If "really cool" and "really interesting" mean "stormtroopers dancing to YMCA" and "even more fitness and dancing games", I'll have my money back now, please.

Gunstringer...an adult game? Really?
Rise of Nightmares got slated in every review I read due to poor game controls.
Blackwater - no idea.

I agree Kinect Sports and Dance Central were good. The Wife also liked Michael Jackson experience - but otherwise not much else good came out. I've just downloaded the demo for Tiger Woods with kinect support before I decide if this is worth a punt. Star Wars kinect is the BIGGEST disappointment for me. i was so looking forward to it - but the more i see, the less I want it.
You don't stop playing because you get older; you get older because you stop playing.
