Assassin's Creed 3

While reading the Assassin's Creed 3 Preview in the mag, (Issue 91, I believe?) I noticed that, where all the random details such as the publisher and release date were, it said that there was Co-op for 1-4 players. This is interesting. Can we advance the single player story with friends?

I haven't heard anything about a story line Co-op, although I think something similar to Splinter Cell Conviction would be excellent, but have come across references to a thinly disguised Horde mode so it could be that?

And welcome to the forums, hope you have fun.

Seriously, was there any need to put this question in multiple forums?

We usually do that to people who seem like they're going to be toolbags to try and make them feel welcome and thus less inclined to excessive arseholery. It doesn't often work. As you weren't displaying any major tendencies towards arseholery that I can recall, we would have had no reason to welcome you.

It is bizarre and backward, and yet makes sense.

I think I was welcomed....does that mean I'm a giant ballbag/spanner/arsehole owner. I'm not even going to dignify myself with saying anymore.

No, but I seem to recall your first post was about three pages long and took in several running jokes, talked directly to regulars and seemed like you were sticking around so it seemed polite.

And Hello Chill, welcome to the forums (happy now, you even get an appreviated pet name  )

You are a total toolbag, but you're our kind of tool bag who fits in here perfectly.

I have no memory of my first post. I'm hoping it amused someone though, that's all I wish for in life.

And I did have a lab coat with "I'm a spanner" handily written across the back so somewhere there's proof I am a toolbag :D

So what was the outcome on this co-op thing or did anyone really ever care?

Co-op was confirmed years ago, back in 1973, I remember it as if it was yesterday. The wind was blowing, the sun was also blowing, tall trees were discombobulating, and men in round hats were suspiciously zealous. Oh, right, the co-op, it was a horde based affair last time I checked where you did objectives in time limits rather than just kill enemies wave after wave, and though you're killing enemies objective after objective, apparently it's not similar in the slightest.

Unless this tool-bagger was on about the main story and there being co-op... that I have no idea on.
It's all in the game...
