UK retailer breaks Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release date

Postby bamozzy » 09 Nov 2012, 15:06

As much as I want this game I am not cancelling my pre-order for the Hardened Edition with Amazon - even if I have to wait an extra day or so (not that I should as the ETA is 13th). However I want to make sure I get the Hardened Edition for both Nuketown maps and the Steelbook case. I have waited this long since pre-ordering, a few extra days won't matter too much!

FAKE! Gotta be activision trying to get rid of GTAVs dominance in the media, everyone has forgotten about CoD. 'Oh lets get some big news out! I know, we'll release the game early, and then sue the people who we told to do it and make money twice! It's foolproof Bobby'

Bobby nods and goes back to his GI Joe doll... GI Joe sex doll.

UK retailer breaks Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 release date

Postby Calakazam » 09 Nov 2012, 15:08

Surprised they are selling it for only £43.85. They could probably charge double that and still people would be willing to pay so they could get the game a whole 3 days early. The extra cash would probably come in handy for when Activision's lawyers turn up

I doubt it's fake, I doubt activision really care that much and I really doubt anyone is surprised. I'm doubting a lot today aren't I.

I don't know what came over me. Quite immature today. Apologies, just wanted a different spin on the story, some would say I reverse... hmm, best stop there.

I never understood why it's such a bad thing to break the release date a couple of days before. These type of lesser known shops have to make their money somehow right?

What kind of features does it have? Mitch action voice commands? Different suits for the more adventurous types?

The Mitch edition doesn't respond to voice commands, it just 'does'.

I have just checked my emails and I have had one from Amazon saying my Hardened Edition has been dispatched with an ETA of 10/11/12 (Today :D ) So it seems that I too may end up with a copy early (along with a lot of other people it seems) - One of my Friends already has this game.

If the general concensus matches that of my friends, Black Ops 2 is going to be the biggest selling game - easily!. I have quite a few friends that can't stand CoD (especially MW2 and MW3) BUT are really interested in this. Some left CoD and bought BF3 instead of MW3 but will be buying BO2 and not MoH.

EDIT:- Literally 2mins after typing this, My Hardened Edition arrived

Anyone know when I can play it online?
