"We can't wait to finally show you what we've really been up to."

An astute IGN reader has leaked a number of impressive concept artworks and story details from Bungie's newest venture, Destiny (via CVG). They reveal a distinct Halo-vibe with an interesting fantasy twist. The much speculated-upon sci-fi action series is set to be published by Activision as a timed Xbox 720 exclusive, and if the premise is anything to go by, it should be an epic saga.... read more

i have much respect for bungie, they put the first xbox on the map with HALO, and they have done amazing things with Halo 2,3 ODST, Reach.
but the time was right to pass the reigns over to 343, which made an amazing game again in HALO 4.
bungie as a studio i felt had so much more potential and im looking forwad to seeing there next project as the concept art looks pretty fancy. im guessing we will hear more concrete details at E3.
and to also hear that this is a 720 exclusive can only be a good thing,

Confused now - one of the title pics on CVG/IGN shows it's for 360 & PS3? See here...

Sorry - i wasn't pointing at you saying you'd said that, just saved me writing more!

Hang on, the article says timed exclusive now - did it say that before?! :? The link in the article brings up another that says it'll be 360 & 720 timed exclusive, so presumably PS3 (and PS4?) at a later date?

Ah, who knows, confusion abounds. If i get it it'll be on 720 anyway... Will do me for now. :|

The Xbox 720 exclusivity bit comes from a Bungie contract from 2010 released as part of the on-going Zampella/West vs Activision debacle. It may well be out of date.

At last, something to anticipate. Destiny may sell me a 720. As long as Microsoft avoid Kinect and Smartglass (in its current form). Both are failed experiments. If there's any emphasis on either of those, I'm going elsewhere.

Take my money! TAKE IT!

Seriously concept art doesn't normally get me overly excited but I can't help but feel this game is going to be amazing.

Is it me or does it look a bit Halo/Killzone/Star Warsish? Either way it looks very interesting so far.

I heard that it would be an Xbox 720 exclusive, but only for a small while. After about 6 month I believe activision plans to release it onto other platforms. Probably be a launch title for the 720 and then may well be released on the PC and sony's new console later on.
I had fun once, it was awful.

Agreed, but it wasn't as good as the concept art implied... or inferred. I forget which.

The thing in the picture looks like a mix of something from star wars and red faction: guerrilla.

I have to agree with cunning about HM: the game. It was EPIC!!!!!!!!
