The last one is probably the closest to what the final design will be.
If they are really going for the full media convergence option then chances are it'll be very plain and simple looking in order to fit in with other home cinema/entertainment equipment. It certainly won't be any kind of ridiculous shape that would never fit on a glass TV stand's shelf.

I have a feeling that the new "720" xbox will be more common then most people think. I am sure the hardware will be different and have greater performance then the last but I highly doubt microsoft will come with a radical futuristic "wtf is that" design

When the new console is released it will probably be the most anti-climatic moment in recent gaming history. Still probably get it though :-D

I seem to recall that Xbox World were pretty close to the mark on their predictions before the 360 launched, so maybe that one is a possibility?
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Its certainly the most realistic one. I can't imagine it looking any more extravagant than that.

i just love freakishly wierd console designs,
if it was like the first one it would be awesome, it just looks like a pure power house and a beast of a console.

Maybe if you're a child. To me it looks incredibly tacky and would look awful under my TV.

it's worrying how few of these seem to have disk drives, I'll still want boxed games for the 720 and want to be able to play my 360 games (and original xbox compatibility would still be awesome xD)
