This all looks superb. The rise of the console MMO, asymmetric experiences etc etc...all very, very exciting. I am pleased to see developers are treating the next generation as more than just a more powerful graphics engine!

It sounds so pormising, but why always online? I'd like to play a game like this, but in my own singleplayer environment. It's why I don't like the sound of a Mass Effect MMO.

Unless it works similar to Dragon's Dogma, but by the looks of it, it doesn't.

The sound of customisable ships tickles my fancy, that I'd like to see in action. Then again I'm a sucker for customisation in general. I'm an individual dammit!

Sounds amazing but I don't like the fact it will be always online. I mean, I'll still (most likely) get it and I'll really enjoy playing with others but I don't like knowing that if servers go down or I'm having internet troubles I will be unable to play it. :|

I just have to say, from my first glance, this looks incredibly ambitious. Bungie are again trying to revolutionize the industry with the idea of MMO FPS. Lets hope its not too ambitious.

MMO....so the experience will have other people. Other dickbags in other words. Can't say I'm all that enthusiastic about it, especially with Activision at the helm with their vision of the future being to financially rape as many people as possible. Still, I hope I'm wrong.

With them not saying it's an mmo I'm thinking it's more of a closed off affair, due to console limits, maybe we'll only see around 30 people in the world?
It's all in the game...

I imagine it'll be much, much more broken-down and flexible than what we now call MMOs. The online functions won't be just about manifesting hundreds of players in the same area - I expect there will also be a welter of less obtrusive ways to interact with the community. Think Dark Souls, Dragon's Dogma and the rest of the asynchronous crowd. Nowadays, online experiences have to scale to those who want only a minimum of involvement if they're to really take off.

I have never really liked MMO's and the ones that I do are the ones that people who like MMO's don't. In short this looks like another really generic and therefore boring MMO which I will ignore. Unless It can prove to be more than what it first appears to be.

There are similarities to Halo, but I'm sure this game can stand out on it's own too. Wonder if this will become a new franchise or if it's just a one-off. It would take a lot for it to surpass the Halo series, but who knows. Next gen is almost upon us, anything is possible.
