*cough*Blops2Ed*cough*
(Not sure if it's on sale mind, it's on the megalist from earlier in the week so assuming it'll be at some point but I'm unable to check the price at the moment.)

Edit: Ah you noticed in the end. Accursed slow typing on a phone!

A whole £5 off Blops 2? I'm there!

I wonder, seeing as most CoD games are actually expensive all the time in retail, if these seemingly rubbish deals do quite well?
It's all in the game...

Ed, can you see any reason beyond activision thinking people are mugs, why these games are more expensive than their peers? Games coming out now in store are cheaper than black ops 2 on sale.

COD 2 at less than a tenner isn't a bad deal. One of the best COD's ever and it's difficult to find let alone for that price.
I don't care if a game is "the same every year." So is pizza. Stop buying the bad pizza. Buy the good pizza.

It's rumoured GoD pricing is so high because high street retailers would throw their toys out of the pram otherwise. That said, you should never rule out basic greed.

In addition to what Ed said, there's a good degree of it in that they're still selling at a reasonable rate, so AV see little reason to drop the price too far to shift more of them. :(

2 most certainly - quality gameplay, plot, audio and (still decent) multiplayer.
3 not so much - but interesting to play based on the fact its Treyarchs first go (and also their only CoD game which isn't US flag waving guff)
