Error

Postby Metalrodent » 03 Apr 2013, 13:21

Just thought one of the technical peeps might want to know that (at least for me) the forum link tab isn't working for me, I can access the forums through article comments, and then it all works (including the forum index button at the bottom) but clicking on the main forum button will still result in an error message coming up

I keep getting errors when trying to access the site, though I can't even view the homepage when it happens. It can not work for days, sort itself, then at a later date balls up again. It says the powers that be have been made aware of the problem, so I assume a fix is already being worked on? I haven't been on much as of late and that's to blame.

How comes the pop up menu for the film reviews refuses to go away? Everytime I've logged on today it fills half the screen and means I can't access any of the articles or the top half of the forum :(

It's possible they haven't capped it properly again. I'll ask.

Re. the 500 errors - I've been banging on about them for days, but the technical team's had its hands full due to staff departures and other stuff. Seems to have sorted itself out now?

Alas no, I'm still being treated to the film reviews menu covering the entire screen :(

I'm all good so I can only assume it's because deep down you're a bad person and you know it.

Adverts are annoying though (the ones that pop out everywhere). I know it's not just you guys, Yahoo has some seriously bad ones but I don't want to feel like I've been violated by an advert, why can't they just sit there all quiet like and let us ignore them should we choose.

An advert that pops out is more likely to get me to actively not buy a product. Apple adverts are horribly awful and arrogant and yet I haven't got a single apple device. Coincidence?

It's giving me some hassle on my end too. Think I preferred that Aliens add more than this. :|

The only reason I can even report it on this thread is because the thread is far enough down the screen to be uncovered. Anything higher up and all I keep clicking is the review for Hanna. Great film, but reading the review for the umpteenth time is getting me down.
