Slightly misleading, as the officers said later that there was no "standoff" with the statue. But then they would say that, wouldn't they?

To be fair, the officers did see a figure holding a weapon outside of a window. I can't blame them for being cautious, even though it turned to be a statue.

In fairness, the last armed man to be spotted in combat gear and a gas mask massacred a bunch of people in Colorado, so let's not roll our eyes or demean those silly Americans eh? :wink:

There seems to be a bit of a delay in tweeting about it - even allowing for user's time zones - so I think it was a marketing ploy. Mind you, I also think that the moon is made of cheese, so I could be wrong.
