Updated: the final list of day one Xbox One titles, including exclusives

There's barely a month to go till the Xbox One's release, and the odd last minute drop-out notwithstanding, we've finally got a clear picture of the console's launch line-up. Not all the games have the makings of stand-out classics, but the pickings are startlingly rich by first wave standards. If this is what developers can do with the hardware at this stage in Xbox One's life, we can only dream of the fun we'll be having by Christmas 2014.... read more

Project Spark is free to play and also coming to 360. Just watched it on GameSpot's live stage as I thought it looked interesting at the conference. It's also a launch window game, so likely won't be there day one.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tropico 5 or Shenmue 3 on this list!

Lots of great looking games, but I'm still waiting for bundles at Xmas!

I will get-

1. Battlefield 4
2. Dead rising 3
3. Watch dogs

That will do me for a few months I reckon.

Can't wait for Gamescon later this year. Microsoft is supposedly saving even more games for then. Fingers crossed there will be a Crackdown 3.
I had fun once, it was awful.

They definitely didn't announce some things, more info on the Black Tusk projects would be lovely. Plus the rumoured Fable MMO.

Battlefield 4 looks cool, though the trailer was definitely rigged. That chopper pilot would have just fired into the apartment and murdered everyone inside. Forza 5 will be a must-buy if I pick up a One. As will Watch Dogs.

Oh, btw - there's a typo in the ACIV:Black Flag section. Says Connor is from ACIV, assume you mean ACIII.

I have to say I'm not especially into driving games but the idea of the Cloud being used to have drivers act as real humans, that looks fab.

If I end up getting XBO, my first games will be:

1. Battlefield 4
2. Dead rising 3
3. Watch dogs

I'm liking the remote play feature of the PS4 and PS Vita, but I also like the entertainment/multitasking features of the Xbox as opposed to what the PS4 has shown. I know graphically the PS4 is 'better' but for me there isn't much difference. I put gameplay, storyline and fun factor first before graphics.

Will see what gets announced at Gamescom first before making my final choice of console/games. Will not pre-order anything yet but so far I prefer the Xbox exclusives over the PS4.

The same games I've picked out, plus I'll take AC4 as well. I want Ryse too, but I think 5 games, plus Killer Instinct for free is just too much to start with, Ryse will wait a week or so for me to finish with Watchdogs and AC4. I plan on getting BF4 on digital too, so that will be interesting.

The PS4 may technically be graphically better, but at this point it's a case of diminishing returns, the improvements are negligible, only really noticeable at rest in screenshots, not during active gameplay.
