Nope. I'm still here.

I am however very happy that MS have now given me more of a choice in November.

Direct from Don Mattrick (with his tail firmly between his legs no doubt!).

Fair play for listening though. Can't ever knock them for admitting they were wrong.

Generally, a highly verbal outcry is much more effective ways of voicing your opinions in a way that might do something.

But anyway, it was actually a smart move to release their DRM Plans early so that it gave them time to change them if they found the reaction was to be this negative.

I must admit, I was all set to jump ship with the Xbox, in favour of the PS4, as I believe DRM and mandetory sign-ins as a gross undermining of consumer rights.

However, this news means that the Xbox is no longer down and out (in my opinion), and it looks like the battle for the space under my TV is still all to play for.

Bring on round two.

Well, firstly, this is great news if true, secondly, it just goes to show that if enough people shout loudly enough, they will eventually be heard (something I said in a previous post). So, all that remains is to get rid of the Kinect and we will all (well most!) of us be happy! :D
