It would probably be better if MS gave away games the maybe didn't do so well, obscure niche games that people were a little nervous to drop cash on. I mean just about everyone who is interested in Fable 3, Assassin's Creed 2 etc. would have already purchased these games so it's hardly a good incentive to stay gold really.

What is everyone's guess to the freebies?

I thought if they would have gone for halo and AC then they would have gone for halo reach and AC rev on account of they are slightly newer.

I wonder if they give the halo 3 and ac 2 maps /dlc out for free too as a massive gesture?

It would be pretty good if they released games such as Mirrors Edge, Enslaved and Bulletstorm for free instead of the usual suspects.

AC2 and Halo were named as the big first games we'll get.

Unfortunately I'm expecting any games that come out after to be not quite as good.
Perhaps arcade titles, or as Silent Dark says, titles that didn't do so well.
This is my signature. Isn't it pretty?

Downloaded it myself last night, not played any of the Fable games before yesterday and the little I did yesterday I enjoyed! Can't wait to go on it tonight!

As I said in another forums Halo 3 and AC2 are still quality games plus I've not completed Halo 3 so its good for me and I wouldn't mind re-playing AC2 since it's one of the best in the series!

Pretty sure they will be on your download history seeing as anything your downloaded goes on there! :D

Presumably yes, if the current system is anything to go by when it recognises you have purchased something it will just say 'download again'.

Also fairly unlikely, if you normally buy the big AAA titles. But since I don't, I'll be surprised if I have many of them at all. (On the other hand, since I'm not a fan of shooty-bang games, I may not actually want to play any of them, either…)
