Defiantly worth £5 to play brothers in arms through again, and i'll probably pick up bulletstorm. Just need to keep myself entertained until GTA V comes out.

The great thing about that one is that it's only $3 on the US dash. Classic.

And to think, if MS had been offering this kind of deal regularly before they announced the One, people might have been more inclined to accept the push toward digital...

Was expecting Perfect Dark Zero to be £4.49 at most, but not paying £11.99 for a 7 year old game. Could pick up the disc version for a couple of quid.

So any games... lol Tomb Raider is $30... I got it when it came out, but wow! Huge discounts... I wan't to get Borderlands 2. It's great, and SO cheap!!! I mean, $10 for Borderlands?? What I dont get though, is why Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3 haven't been lowered yet... I have Crysis 3, but I wanted to see what Bioshock Infinite would be!! Hopefully it just hasn't been updated yet... lol, I hope these happen more often!! Hopefully the free games get better, too!!

I got the limited edition metal box + bonus disk + comic for about £5 years ago - so yes you can find it much cheaper lol

The guy being shot in the top photo looks like the protagonist from Bully.

I've heard many differing opinions of AC3, Ed would you say £8.99 is worth the punt?

I also might pick up Bulletstorm... though I've just ordered Crysis 3 for £15.99.... damn, just when I think I've almost cleared my backlog of games so I can free up some time to get back to Skyrim (only a third of the way through! Criminal, I know! And I love it!), bargains come along and scupper my plans.

Damn this job taking up all my time!

Argh I keep trying to download Assassins Creed 3 using my MS points and it keeps telling me my purchase cannot be completed at this time.

For nine quid I'd say it's worth the awful, scarring pain of that 5-10 hour introduction. It's not a patch on the other ACs to my mind - too much bloat - but it's a solid open worlder on the whole.

WAIT!! They lowered the price on Crysis 3? When I checked, it was still $60... Maybe they finally updated Bioshock Infinite's price, too!! I am definitely getting Borderlands 2 tho!!

Sorry Winter, I may have misled you a little, I ordered it cheaper off the internet, Play.com to be precise.

Thanks for the info Ed, I may opt in for the price, I take your caveat on board reluctantly, 5 to 10 hours in my play time probably equates for 20 hours!! I don't half faff about in open worlds.... hence Skyrim remains probably only a third complete even though, to my embarrassment, I've spent over 250 hours there!

Seriously, don't worry about the open world until after the (unnecessarily long) intro. It's not really 'open' until well after that anyway. Definitely worth a go at £8.99, IMO.
One caveat: I'm not sure what the deal is regarding the Ubisoft Passport and Games On Demand - it's certainly been suggested in the past that GoD versions still require the purchase of the uPlay Passport for playing MP past the 10 day(?) trial. If you're not bothered about the MP, that's fine but otherwise worth checking.
