Really enjoying Far Cry 3 so far after grabbing
it for £8.99 in the sale. The next game should
strengthen the enemy AI though.

did you ever play the famous player made Far Cry 2 map Jurassic Park? It was awesome, a great example of what the series map editor can do

Personally I would just want the next far cry's map editor to be useful so I could actually use all the features in multiplayer.
I mean, who wouldn't want to have a fight of you+your friends vs 1000 Komodo dragons!

So long as its FC3 style rather than FC2 than great ( though more werewolf shenanigans like FC Instincts would be better)

I think the rights to thx first game are still owned by CryTek aren't they? Means we need to be begging a different person

Hmm... no no! Make it basically FC3.2 - as in the same basic fc3 gameplay with added gumbah like most sequels by ubisoft but adding optional hardcore mode to bring back weapon degredation and the other hardcore bits I've forgotten about.

I thought the story better too, and Africa was much more interesting than the islands.

I'd welcome more far cry, but make hunting more relevant, more vital. Make it a survival game or something, as in you are living off the land etc.
...and if you tell that to the kids of today, they wont believe you!

FC2 should have been the better game, and agreed that Afirica was an interesting setting but the game as a whole was way too broken for me to enjoy any part of it. It was a nightmare! Meanwhile I'm addicted to the third

Yeah but the point is if you make the next far cry 3 with the best bits of 2 you get best of both worlds.
