I passed on last years effort because it didn't seem to add anything to make it worth upgrading but this?......

Properly excited for the "Classic's mode". I actually dribbled a small amount of sex wee when I read the article and clapped eyes on the screen shots!

Well, if you dribble your sex wee everywhere don't be surprised if you get the clap.

I was going to pass on this year's iteration, thinking that the three previous versions were enough to fill my F1 needs, but then I read the words "Classic mode". Just tell me where to send the money.

Looks good - if they can get rid of the bugs - although Senna is noticeably absent from the Classics list which is a real shame. Codemasters if you're reading this a Team Management mode where you could manage budgets, sponsorship, strategy and team/drivers and the potentially tempestual relationships would be amazing. A reputation system which could be affected by results, crashes, and a beefed-up interview system would also, I think, give more depth to the game outside of racing and into the political aspects of the sport. This is probably looking like a wishlist of a hardcore fan of F1 but surely champions mode, season challenge, classics mode and online are enough to occupy the mass market of gamers you want to sell to? Some deal with Sky to have optional in-race commentary by Brundle/Crofty wouldn't go amiss either.

Never mind Brands Hatch and Jerez, how about Imola, Adelaide, Magny Cours, Estoril, Mexico and the original Hockenheim?
It would be great to see the Jordans, Jaguars, Bennetons etc again.
Best of all though, the chance to re-live that infamous Mansell/Senna monaco battle!

They always make this look so easy, I find these games extremely difficult.

I agree the game needs more atmosphere to it, and i'd love to see podiums with the anthems playing and the champagne spraying. Also i hope this version plays better than F1 2012 as the handling was awful when played with a racewheel. It was fine with a controller, but nigh on impossible at times with a wheel thanks to the revamped handling model.
