There won't be any button prompts during executions, producer reveals

Ryse: Son of Rome's E3 show didn't do a terribly good job of conveying the game's subtleties, Crytek producer Michael Read has admitted. The build shown at the expo was very much work in progress, he told Siliconera in an interview - you can expect more elaborate, tactical brawling with less signposting once Ryse hits shelves.... read more

Actually, it's usually far worse than that in real life, because usually the door says pull, without thinking you attempt to push, and then get a nosebleed as you face plant a door that remains closed! Not that that's ever happened to me of course...

OT: Ryse was the only mainstream game that slightly appealed to me at E3, but I was concerned about the over proliferation of QTE's, so the fact we won't be able to see them is actually pretty appealing as more than likely they will be linked to combos, which providing they aren't overly complex is a far better way of getting the kill or execution in my opinion..

That's totally not the reason I wear a baseball cap whenever I'm out of the house. Well, that and my shiny bald head possibly bringing down aeroplanes.

I occasionally have that problem with steps. I keep spamming the 'use next step' button when I've already gone beyond the last step checkpoint. It's quite jarring.

There's a lot we should have explained. We didn't do a good job of doing that.

There seems to be a lot of this going around at the moment...

Somewhat more interested in this, now the QTE-fest is disappearing.

As soon as I saw the game I was sold but knowing now the QTE won't be in there makes it even more desirable not that am against them but now it will take timing and skill also the different body parts for different buttons option sounds cool they better do some achievements to do with that like "Cut off 100 enemies legs" to get the "Hop A Long" achievement or "Stumpy" lol

Cool, where did you get it?

And why do they suddenly release a load of avatar gear I want 6 months before the whole thing becomes meaningless?
