Master Chief is being "mercilessly hunted", it seems

Well, no wonder Master Chief looks a little raggedy, a little - shall we say - down at heel in the trailer for Halo Xbox One: he's struggling to survive in the face of a galaxy-wide holocaust. When you can stomp Prometheans 24-7 without falling behind the cutting edge of fashion, you'll be in a position to judge, eh? Plot details for the game appear to have surfaced over at the Microsoft Store. The page has now been pulled, but the generally trustworthy All Games Beta has preserved a snapshot for posterity.... read more

Halo Xbox One plot details appear on Microsoft Store

The plot of Halo 4 was very meh, I was
Expecting more insight into what happened
after the end of Halo 3 and more of a big deal
to be made that Master Chief is still alive but it
was glossed over in favour of a story that at times
contradicted its own history.

I hope this is alluding to the return of the Precursors and the Flood, which is another form of Precursor.

You'd have thought the game (H4) would deal with what has been going on post Halo 3, but there is a tonne in the books, etc. about that.

Another ODST style game to flesh out the world and show us more of the universe they've created would be nice

More Prometheans ? Hmmm i would prefer more flood & covenant? etc

Also i really enjoyed playing as the enemy in Halo 2 maybe they could do something like that again.

Unfortunately you'll need to the read the Glasslands trilogy or peruse a halo wikia to bridge the gap between 3 and 4. This does sound promising for the arrival of the Precursors.

Well it`s understandable at least.I liked Halo 4`s campaign because it wasn`t "Generic Manly Space Marine kills evil aliens" some people may like it that way but I do not.

I haven't found them myself, but the terminals supposedly add a lot of background to the story.

I do love Halo but never read the books, I should tho. I reckon Master Chief might fight against spartan soldier's cause of what happens in the story of spartan ops. Dont know, I could be wrong. Would like to see the floods back and playing the elites in mp to be back too.

i have like all the halo games so far from halo war to halo 1/2/3 and reach but halo 4 i dident really like that much because of spartan ops which wasent that good plus it seemed like they were takeing a page out of call of duty with spec ops missons campain was really good but the multiplayer maps looked like halo3 look a likes knock offs but if you ask me 343 should have not took over from bungie. bungie were the real company that made halo what it is they should have carryed it on.but of coures its not bungie any more is 343 studios makeing halo it is halo but it doent feel or play like the other halo games out their it just seem "es different now.
