I'd expect mid November to get the jump on the PS4.

I'm thinking a week or two before the PS4 launches. If it releases after the PS4 I'd be very surprised.

I actually think at a guess, its going to be after the PS4. I see it coming out later in November. I really do think its time they announced the date though lol!

They should release both on the same day. Those midnight launches would be really amusing if they did.

It's possible. MS could forget that the PS4 launches here two weeks after the US. I predict fanboy riots if they do pick the 29th.

This could be happening. I just got a £20 off a £50 spend at Very voucher through the door and had a quick look at what their Xbox One games were pre-ordering at. Release dates are listed as November 29th...

Amazon (US) have had the X1 and various release date games down with a release date of 27th November for a few days at least - click

Target.com (also US) quotes everything with release date of 27th as well - see Forza5 for example

And simplygames.co.uk has everything listed with 8th release date.

So, two US sites say 27th, and one UK site I can see says 8th. Therefore, they must both be right, and MS has decided that as us in the EU aren't getting a load of the TV stuff, they'll release early in Europe and make the Americans wait! Huzzah!

As much as I think it'll be the 5th to coincide with the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts, I can actually see it being the 22nd, provided Microsoft get a bit sentimental. The 22nd is the 8th anniversary of the launch of the Xbox 360, so it sort of makes sense to launch the One then.
