More footage of the console in action leaks

Having a rough Monday morning? Smooth down those ruffled feathers with a video of Xbox One's dashboard and the Ryse: Son of Rome beta in action, care of a Youtube user who's probably having an even more terrible Monday than you are, on account of all the lawyers pointing rocket launchers at his router.... read more

That's not the snap feature - the snap feature lets you show two things on screen at the same time, one on the left/right in a small bar and the other taking up the rest of the screen. Like playing a game while in a Skype call, for example.

You're right - I'm confusing it with Instant Switching. Updated.

Although it's good to get to see more about the console, i really don't enjoy "leaks". Somebody has just got into a little bit of bother over this i'm sure...

So you can no longer pause cutscenes by pressing the big round X? While it's incredibly impressive, I don't think I've ever wanted to go back to the dashboard while a game is still running unpaused.

Interesting video. Although I like how this has been pulled (sensibly) by the original uploader, and then this second person; possibly completely unrelated has re-uploaded it. What away to shift yourself into the firing line :P

Yeah, this must be the son of an MS employee, or a contractor. Not very sensible to point a camera at an unreleased console and upload it to Youtube

TOO.MUCH.GREEN. - hopefully the tiles of the dashboard will be a bit more colourful (a la Windows 8 'metro') when it's released/dashboard update upon first switch on. It looks like an enormous version of my Windows 7 phone home screen at present.

Very unsurprising look and feel but a welcome one nonetheless. Good to see even a buggy beta version looks fairly good. Really looking forward to getting my hands on the Gert.

Not liking the lag that occurred at 2:02. That wasn't a bug that was hardware by looks of things and the dash is too squashed together with the tiles but am sure this will all change. I shall have to test the shiznit out of the hardware for this as i hate laggy products especially when they have such big specs. On a plus note i cant wait for this to hurry up and release
