Ah, clever, they have gone for the full Lionhead experience for this anniversary edition. How I loved the nostalgic rush of disappointment! Just like old times!

I agree. 3 months after X Box one is released. 2 months after Christmas. I was looking forward to this after I first heard about it but by then I think I and many other people will be to used to next gen to go back to a pre gen version of a pre pre gen game, especially as the One is not backwards compatible. Nice going Lionhead.

That said I actually may still buy it as I did love the original Fable and did replay it on the 360.

I hope so.

And, furthermore, I hope they do it well and it doesn't suck horribly like it did in Fable 2.

I think this will be the last game exclusive to the 360 assuming it's not ported over to the One. If anything it at least it shows they will continue to support the 360.

I'm glad to see the "only" Fable game I liked releasing in HD; Fable 2 and 3 flat-out disappointed me.
February's fine with me -- I'm not getting the remaining next-gen consoles I don't have yet for at least 6 to 8 months anyway, as I never order consoles from the 1st batch. Kinks & bugs get worked out that way, and I have plenty to keep me busy with several retro consoles.
