From Software attempts to redefine "cruelty", succeeds

You'd think I'd know better by now. You'd think that after 70-odd hours in the original Dark Souls, defiler of plumped-up egos, I'd have learned the value of caution, patience and, above all, humility. Dark Souls broke that part of me that gets annoyed at a lack of progress, for which I'm thankful as I can now play games that frustrated the hell out of me before.

I'm thinking the part of me that gets annoyed at not knowing what to do next will be broken by playing DS2 at launch. As long as there aren't areas like the graveyard that are too easy to wander into and get overwhelmed by enemies you can't possibly beat.
The new first law of the internet: For every action, there is an irrational and disproportionate social media overreaction.

I played around 150 hours of dark souls and not once did I encounter supersized enemies
sent by gravelord servants

Under levelled strikes are Destiny's way of showing you that you're not as good as you thought you were. GT - sorethumbed

Nope. It's actually a never ending story. Once you beat the last boss a screen comes up and says 'Level 2' and you carry on.
