Have at you, landlubber! Ed takes up the new Xbox controller

No game has done more to persuade me that next generation consoles aren't yet necessary than Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, perhaps the most technically accomplished of today's cross-gen releases, and the one that's least mired (Uplay Passport aside) in controversy. Assassin's Creed 4 Xbox One hands-on - is it worth jumping s

Postby Daniel2 » 07 Nov 2013, 15:56

i played this for a couple of days but ended up returning it (360 version), my problem was the controls, they just seemed very unresponsive and made my time with the game a chore, it felt as if it was too much game for the 360 and was wondering if it was better on the xb1.
Can you confirm if it controls any better on the xb1?

They're pretty much identical, so if you didn't like the 360 version I guess the game's not for you. :|

I take it you're not going to do a PC version review? You're probably biased/paid to write about xbox stuff aren't you as usual.

Shame there is no big difference between versions apart from the look of it, will still get on next gen instead of current though

The important questions need to asked! My bionic eye implants spot these things a mile off.

I will be picking this up at some point but, as I haven't even started the third/fifth one yet, it won't be for a while.

Not to be unexpected really, most "crossgen" titles have little in the way of actual real development especially this early. Glad to know when I eventually get this I won't be missing out on much.

Eye implants. Those other implants aren't as fussy what resolution games run in.
